Privacy
The short version: no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts, and nothing you type is sent anywhere. The longer version explains the two exceptions honestly.
These pages are a good-faith starting point written for a small educational site, not legal advice. Before you publish, have someone qualified in your jurisdiction review them — particularly the liability, governing-law and student-data sections.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no contact form, no newsletter, no comments and no analytics of any kind. Your answers in the four-question test are never transmitted — the test runs entirely in your browser, and no record of it reaches us. We do not sell, share or disclose personal information, because we do not have any to sell, share or disclose.
Cookies and local storage
The site sets no cookies, which is why you will not see a consent banner.
It does use your browser’s local storage for one strictly functional purpose: remembering course wording that an instructor has typed into the instructor page, so it survives a page reload. The key is aiq.config. Nothing about a student, their answers or their reading is stored. Because this is limited to functionality you asked for, it is the kind of storage that does not require consent under the ePrivacy rules — but you can clear it at any time with the Clear button on that page, or by clearing site data in your browser.
What our host can see
This is the exception worth stating plainly, because “we collect nothing” is not the whole truth for any website. The site is served by a hosting provider, and like every host it processes standard request information — your IP address, the page requested, timestamp, user agent and referrer — in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. That processing is the host’s, under their own policy, and we do not receive, store or analyse those logs.
If you are the operator of this site: name your host here and link their privacy documentation, and if you later add analytics, a form or a font service, this section must change.
Configuration links
When an instructor generates a configuration link, the course wording is encoded into the link’s address. That means it travels wherever the link travels, and it is visible to anyone who has the link and to any system that logs URLs. Keep personal data, credentials and anything confidential out of those fields.
Your rights
Data protection law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability over personal data held about you, and rights to know about and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We hold none, so there is nothing to request — but if you believe otherwise, write to us and we will investigate and respond.
We do not respond to Do Not Track signals because there is no tracking to disable. We do not use your visit to train any model.
Students and young people
The site is written for undergraduate students and their instructors, and is not directed at children under 13. We knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, of any age. Because nothing is collected, no education records are created or held, so the site does not become part of any institutional student-records obligation.
